Music has always been part of my life. My father came to Britain in the early 1960s and toured professionally, performing alongside artists including John Lennon, Cream, Deep Purple, The Who and Frank Zappa. Growing up around music gave me first hand insight into both the opportunities and the challenges musicians face.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with bands and solo artists. Those experiences shaped my belief that every artist deserves to be listened to, understood and supported as an individual.

Velvet Steele Music Agency was founded to offer a more personal approach to working with independent artists. Whether that means offering honest advice, making the right creative introduction or helping plan the next steps, my aim is simply to listen first, understand each artist and work alongside them.
